The community is invited to come Walk the Labyrinth in this age-old spiritual practice of quiet reflection. Calm your body, mind, and spirit as you walk the Labyrinth. This circular labyrinth, modeled on the one set into the floor of the Chartres Cathedral in France (1194-1220 A.D.), will be open to people of all ages and faiths, and is handicapped accessible. This is an indoor 40ft across labyrinth that is 1/3 of a mile walk inward and then another 1/3 back out. It is walked in candlelight with a background of meditative music. Walking a labyrinth is a form of body meditation that can serve to quiet, restore, and center oneself. Bluegrass Alley was born from players meeting at jams and bonding over their love of traditional bluegrass music. The members of the band span generations, genders, and musical backgrounds. The thing that unites them all is that playing bluegrass music together is seriously fun! Bringing you that high lonesome sound is Ali Krayer on mandolin, Stan Ink on banjo, guitar and vocals, Marina Khananayev on lead vocals and guitar, Jenn Lovell on upright bass and an occasional rotation of guest fiddle players.
